Hero Baldinger is your average cynical San Francisco teenager with his fair share of buried demons—almost. On the night of his 18th birthday, Hero manages to find himself in a warehouse in the middle of nowhere, crowd-surfing atop hundreds of total strangers at a mysterious party being thrown in his honor. After a strange encounter with the host, Hero wakes up the next morning to find himself invisible. Enlisting the help of his best friend Roosevelt and quick-witted aspiring scientist Kaia, Hero begins to uncover the dark truth behind his invisibility in the first part of this novel series.
