This ebook is an introduction to structural design. This ebook covers concepts of structural design, load calculations and distribution, and methods of applications to the design of reinforced concrete, reinforced masonry and steel structures. The first four chapters cover load demand from gravity and lateral wind and earthquake loads whereas the following three chapters covers introduction to design of reinforced concrete frame structures, reinforced concrete masonry wall bearing structures and steel structures.
