Invitations to Create

Invitations to Create was born around the same time as the author’s second child. Wanting to find a way to connect with and value her older daughter while juggling the needs of a newborn, Sonya assembled these invitation during the day and they were explored by her daughter while she sat feeding “little bro” and observing the explorations and wonderings of her big girl. 


The inspiration for this book came from websites, books, blogs, and the author’s own experience as an art teacher.
