The author was formerly employed as a psychologist working with the justice department and criminals. Ten percent of the profits of this and all of her books will be given to Puppies behind Prison Bars. That program allows inmates to contribute to society by training service dogs to assist law enforcement, explosive detection, and to help children and wounded veterans.
