He achieved widespread fame with his novel "The Jungle Book" in 1894, which was followed by a sequel, "The Second Jungle Book," in 1895. Kipling also wrote many poems, including "If—," which is widely regarded as one of his most famous works. Throughout his career, Kipling was known for his ability to capture the atmosphere and culture of colonial India, as well as his exploration of themes such as imperialism, war, and the relationship between humans and animals. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1907, making him the first English-language writer to receive the honor. Kipling died in London in 1936, at the age of 70.
