Kip, The Story of a Dog

Kip's story begins with abandonment, and almost ends with drowning. But she swims to safety and survives alone on an island in winter. After years of isolation, a catastrophic event brings Kip into contact with people again. But who can she trust? A local fireman seeks her friendship. He brings her back to the firehouse, where she finds her purpose as a rescue and tracking dog. Through finding lost people and helping with rescue when a massive tornado threatens the town, Kip learns about friendship and loyalty.
