The pain of losing her grandmother is starting to dull, even if it will always be there, with each passing day that Kacie and Evan are together. Realizing his brother’s death is no fault of his own, Evan accepts he’ll never understand why it happened, as long as he has Kacie. Everything seems to be going their way. Life is, for a change, perfect.
Without warning, old obstacles resurface and new ones are revealed, sending the two into a downward spiral. Lines will be crossed. Hearts will be broken.
