Growing up as the only lion in a family of bears, Bowie always felt a little bit different.

A lion with distinctive bear traits, Bowie has the kind of personality that helps him get along with everyone. It's an asset in his work as a police officer, but it hasn't helped him find his true love. His siblings have all found their mates, but so far no female has piqued his lion's interest.  Just when he's resigned himself to a life of bachelorhood, he gets a job offer that will change his life…

After Becca's father was murdered by hunters, her family was plunged into poverty.
