Love, Laura is a book of life, of change, filled with love and the stubborn devotion of two headstrong individuals to one another. It touches on the sorrows of life such as loss and grief, and it encourages the acceptances of those seen as different. It gives a sense of reality without flinching, of love, even when things go wrong, and how faith as small as a mustard seed can see you through whatever life might throw at you. For fans of historical fiction, this book starts just at the end of World War Two, and ends just in the sixties. It is a look at simpler times, when two people didn't need much, just each other to be happy and a look at how two people become one in a marriage. If you want to read about life, love, and all the struggles that make it beautiful, then this is the book for you!


About the Author


Hailing from Texas, and a proud graduate of Cornerstone Christian School in San Antonio, I've been writing for as long as I can remember. I come from a tight-knit family, with parents who instilled in me strong Christian values, and encouraged a love of books, reading, and creativity. I read about as much as I write, and I'm always searching for a good book to devour. If I'm not reading, or writing, I'm probably between books, or planning my next story. I carry a notebook and pen with me, everywhere for story ideas, characters, dialogue, etc. My faith and family mean a lot to me. My faith influences a lot of what I write, and because of that, I often write stories with strong spiritual themes. From the use of Bible verses to prayers and hymnals, I find inspiration in spirituality and the Lord. My family is my biggest supporter, and without them, I'm not sure I'd be in the position to publish this book. Whether it is my parents encouraging me to seek out a publisher or my sister cheering me on, they always have my back. I do thank them and love them so much for that. I consider myself to be very blessed to be able to do what I do with such an awesome support system behind me, every step of the way.
