Lucian's Hen

This work is inspired by the famous folk fairy tale The Speckled Hen.

Most people are only familiar with the condensed modern adaptation. It is this fairy tale that is told to children as one of the first ones due to its brevity and unpretentious of the plot. 

The philosophical meaning of the story of The Speckled Hen remains a subject of debate among researchers to this day. Some theories and interpretations can be found in the works of V. N. Toporov and L. Moshchenskaya, B. V. Zakhoder, as well as many other people of art and literary scholars.

In this book, the narrative of the well — known fairy tale has been expanded and supplemented with new characters and storylines that will help parents to reveal the moral aspects of life through images that are understandable to children.
