Magenta High Frequency Words

This is number one in a series of 6, sight/high frequency word books. The activities within these books are designed to support early word recognition and language development. Each set of words is linked to the reading colour wheel - Magenta, Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Orange. Each of the six books follows the same format with four different activities for each word


1. Say the word, touch the word to hear it.

2. Say the word, touch the word, some words will ‘surprise’ you. (Recognise the word in differing fonts)

3. Hear the sentence, read the sentence.

4. Find the word, say the word, touch the word, read as many words as you can. (The whole list appear on the page, when you touch the word a pop up appears with the word in a differing font)
