Magic Lightbox

In Magic Lightbox, Lucia Grossberger Morales describes her transition from art materials, including oil paints to creating art on the Apple II Home Computer, in 1979. Lucia had no background in computers, but after suffering severe asthma and allergies to oil paints and other art materials, she decided to use a computer. Lucia fell in love with the computer’s logic; it wasn’t judgmental, and it was patient. In 1980, along with Harry Vertelney, Lucia coauthored the Designer’s Tool Kit, published by Apple Computer, Inc., in 1982. Her art work was shown in galleries in the United States and Latin America.
