Making Our Way

Dee and Lana continue their friendship and their life journeys in this sequel to Castle in the Air.  Lana finds her prince charming, marries,  and loses him.  She and her son, David, struggle to go on without Jack.  Lana’s friendship with two of her husband’s fellow police officers continues.  When one of the officers dies, Lana has a sexual encounter with the other officer.  Her pregnancy terminates with an ectopic pregnancy.  As Lana comes out of mass with David, Josh finds Lana and introduces himself.  Lana and Josh fall in love.


Michael returns to Dee's life after six years.  Their love remains strong. Dee struggles after Michael's accident.  He loses his right eye, severely injures his right leg and loses his memory.  He asks for time away from Dee.  Josh takes custody of his dead sister's child.  He places his relationship with Lana on hold.  Dee and Lana face these conflicts with their men.  Time, love and understanding from their women see the men through their struggles.  First Lana, and then Dee finally find commitment and love, Lana with Josh, and Dee with Michael.
