Memoirs of Roger Max Zimmerman Volume 4 Above Ground Activities

This volume features new engineering activities associated with shock and vibration testing and sub-orbital space flights. I became the project leader for the Mechanical Shock Laboratory, where we performed shock tests on components associated with flights or other moving events. I transferred to the Aerospace Systems Development Center where I was involved with being a being a project leader or a project coordinator and analyst for new development efforts. Upon retirement, I provided test guidance and test director services for the preparations of components and vehicles for flights. I also provided logic-based analyses designed to flush out failure causes for components. and space vehicles.
