Monique Boudreaux, a successful law partner, is wealthy, single, and determined to avoid any and all long-term relationships.

But she is also haunted by her past that is soon to become her present.

Enter Jeffrey Hansen, General/Thoracic surgeon, with his own set of issues. He hates female attorneys ever since a patient unjustly sued him for malpractice was represented by one. He's also alienated with his father. He's a love them and leave them kind of guy. 

They meet and there is a strong physical attraction. But can they make something more out of the physical desire they have for each other?
