It’s time to mentor him! We must be the leaders and examples our young men need. We can speak words of affirmation and support him. The world has tried to label our young men in a negative way, but we stand with and for them.

Author Cassandra Ferguson, along with her six coauthors, previously took a stand for girls around the world with their earlier project, Dear Daughter. Now these moms are seeking to disrupt the status quo and demand change. Here they share their teaching moments with their sons, reminding them that they are far more than what society has labeled them. They can do all things through Christ who strengthens them; they can be anything and go anywhere—as long as they don’t give up. Standing with our sons requires not just words but also resilience and determination. Mothers’ teachings can have a tremendous effect on sons, and these authors are out to ensure they don’t forget that.
