My uffizi notebook

Bernadette Kam Fu LEE alias LEE-PISAPIA, Kam Fu Bernadette. She was born in Hong Kong in 1958, resided in Florence as an artist from 1983-2001, in Rome from 2003-2018.
Based now between Hong Kong and Italy, Bernadette finds her arts inspiration from her intensive experience with the sacred images especially at the Uffizi.
However, it was only in 2013 she did her first sketches of the Madonna and child images directly at the Uffizi museum.
This notebook with the sketches are a result of that intense diary.
Almost ten years later, Bernadette decided to share her notebook with the public. Since her return to Hong Kong in 2018, Bernadette continues to do comparative studies between Eastern Madonna’s images ( found in Chinese operas ) and western ones found in masterpieces.
