In Volume 3 of Risqué Fae, Del's bed is never empty while he learns the history and language of the fae. Still, Del cannot pinpoint why Venture feels distant. Even if they are not lovers, they share baths, and Del is 'taught' the various ways to pleasure his partners. Most fae are not monogamous, and Venture has no reservations about teaching Del more than just courtly behaviour.
The true object of Del's desire is Titus: a man who is mild, sweet, and protective of Del. But Del soon finds out that his attitude is completely different in bed, and he is met with something primal and possessive between the sheets. Titus isn't commanding in bed like Venture is, but he's no less dominant, and Del is faced with the realization that Titus is not just animalistic in appearance, but in anatomy as well.
During his studies, Del runs into his crush, Titus, and he is overcome with want for the beastly man. Their lovemaking is primal, and Titus grows more than a little possessive.
