Nejd Gold

The vast majority of Bedouin jewellery is made of silver but a few ‘old’ gold items are occasionally seen especially in the Riyadh ‘Antique’ souq.  This gold seems to be peculiar to the Nejd, as it does not appear to be seen in other parts of the Kingdom.  We have called it ‘Nejdi gold’
