Harry Carmichael considered himself a smart man. He’d spent years figuring out what clients wanted and giving it to them. His cleverness had padded his wallet, but money wasn’t everything. If he could figure out what  Dr. Sofia Walton wanted in a man, he would gladly be who she needed.

 

Dr. Sofia Walton would be the first to admit that she’d never gotten over losing her husband and two children. Losing one of her tiny pediatric cancer patients often spiraled her into old grief. Yet despite the emotional pain she never handled well, she remained devoted to her job of making miracles happen. It would certainly take a miracle for her to risk loving again.
