Never Shattered

Love.

It's what everyone wants, yet few will ever experience it. Hell, most people don't know even know what it is, what it feels like to love or be loved. I do. I know love and the excruciating side effects it leaves in its wake. True, intense, and passionate love—though savagely beautiful—is a silent suicide that wreaks havoc on our souls. Is it true what they say? Is it better to love than to never have loved at all?

Many have said, "If you love someone, set them free."

Nonsense.

Out of love, I let her go.

Because of love, I could never set her free.

There are many things in life I'm unsure of, but if there's one thing I'm certain of, it's this….

She's mine. Forever and always.

And yeah, some may call me a monster for ruining her so-called marriage, and for tearing apart the family they could be, but I couldn't care less. If fighting for the love of my life and for our family—not his—makes me a monster, so be it. I'll wear the title with my head held high and my girl on my arm.
