Nash the cougar’s life is about to change—but not in the way he expects.

Blaming his father for his mother’s death in a car wreck, Nash disowns his family and leaves England for America. Once settled in the sleepy seaside town of Shorewood, he builds a new life for himself. There he makes two close friends in fellow surfers Emily and Cooper, a pair of dingoes, themselves immigrants from Australia.

However, finding that special someone to share his life eludes him until a chance, and awkward encounter brings him and Archer the husky together. At first, everything is fine, then a series of strange events happen. However, the incidents rapidly escalate until Nash and Archer find themselves in very real danger.
As if that wasn’t enough for Nash to deal with, family matters catch up with him as his uncle Marcus, accompanied by two minders, appears on Nash’s doorstep. The reason behind Marcus’s visit leaves Nash and Archer’s relationship in tatters as Archer discovers everything the cougar has told him about his past life in England is a pack of lies.

Reunited, Nash and Archer, fly to England, unaware that danger has followed them, resulting in two further attempts on their lives. Now, with their relationship seemingly over, they return to Shorewood.

However, Nash’s nemesis has pursued him back to America, leaving Nash in a desperate race to save Archer’s life.
