Nikola Tesla

Tesla was (and is) called "The common man's Einstein". Real scientists mention him because his name is attached fundamentally to much of the underpinning of our modern society.  His writing and research, from his patents to his theoretical work, provide the foundation to the basis for todays modern industrial systems. Yet he hardly gets a footnote in our public school textbooks.
