Oh, Woman‪!‬

This is the first major selection to appear in the United States from one of the finest poets of our contemporary era of the Ukrainian literature. The rich, philosophical poetry of Vitaly V. Ivashchenko reflects striving for spiritual fulfillment. The selected 85 poems included in this volume come from two collections: Oh, Woman! and The Second Love, both published in 2006.

The author’s statement: “Although among myriads of souls two are not alike, all have one thing in common: love. All travel through its time and space; some pass by, others stay. The need for love is eternal. Lyrical poetry is a unique mirror that reflects the loving soul. It helps us to understand emotions we are living through. Poetry captures a moment in life and warms one’s heart many years later.”
