On the Nice List

It's Christmas Eve-Eve on the Upper East Side. Snow is falling, drinks are flowing, and hearts are...being shattered.

It-girl Emily Lockwood has made it onto lots of lists in her life--best party hostess, best kisser, best dressed. 

But never the nice list. 

Nice doesn't get you very far when you run with Manhattan's elite, and maintaining her edge helps Emily maintain her status. So maybe she's getting a dose of overdue karma when her longtime boyfriend breaks up with her minutes before they're supposed to arrive together at her annual holiday party. Now she's alone, humiliated, and a little broken hearted.

Andy Schwartzman knows a thing or two about having his heart stomped on. Recently dumped and forced to sit through his older brother's theatrical proposal in a crowded city he sort of hates isn't how he wanted to spend this bitterly cold night. 

But it's the holiday season, and anything can happen. 

A shortage of cars can force two strangers to share a ride. 

A brunch challenge can send them on a holiday heist.

Mistakes can be made...and, just maybe, forgiven. 

Hearts that seemed irreparably broken can be mended.

And a polished princess might just land a spot on the one list that has eluded her--the nice list.
