Everyone deals with trials in their lives everyday. Tamar Sudeen has had her fair share, bouncing around from foster home to foster home. After defending herself from an abusive foster father, she makes a run to live off the grid until she turns eighteen.

When Tamar finds herself in a life or death situation, she is rescued by the last person she ever thought she would believe in. However, she learns that devil knows her name and he has come to claim her for his own.
