Outside in the Dark

A couple lost in ancient woods, but close to modern London, is confronted by the mortal danger of a supernatural creature. A young boy loses his father and is threatened by the gruesome crew of a narrow-boat on a canal in the heart of Oxford.


In his uncanny stories, Uwe W. Appelbe combines the long tradition of Gothic literature with an individual, contemporary style, creating a haunting atmosphere of cold uncertainty. Gothic at its best!
