Oz Series 5-8

The Road to Oz (Book 5) follows Dorothy as she accidentally wanders into magical lands with eccentric companions like the Shaggy Man and Button-Bright. Their journey leads to Oz for Princess Ozma’s grand birthday celebration, highlighting Oz’s expanding cast of whimsical characters.

The Emerald City of Oz (Book 6) has Dorothy, Aunt Em, and Uncle Henry move permanently to Oz to escape financial hardship. Meanwhile, the Nome King plots to invade Oz with a bizarre coalition of underground creatures. Ozma uses powerful magic to seal Oz from the outside world, protecting it forever.

In The Patchwork Girl of Oz (Book 7), Baum introduces new heroes: Ojo the Unlucky, Scraps the Patchwork Girl, and Bungle the Glass Cat. Their quest to gather magical ingredients to save Ojo’s petrified guardian leads to a playful, imaginative adventure across Oz.
