Paradoxes

Where do we go when we don't know which path to take? Why do pains intertwine with the skin and wounds open with our own fingers? What lessons do we learn and which ones do we refuse to learn? There is a universal duality that always presents us with choices and many contradictions.

This paradoxical way of being divides us between being or not being, doing or not doing, accepting or rejecting who we truly are.

The texts I present here express joy and sadness, the exaltation of pleasure and discontent. It's all a paradox, as the one who feels oscillates from the mountaintop to the depths of the ocean in mood swings and misguided decisions, making both right choices and mere illusions to sustain life.

This rollercoaster ride is what makes life what it is, a choice between common sense and the complete alternative of opposing what is commonly agreed upon, living in these paradoxes.
