Pathlight, Autumn 2013

Issue 7 of Pathlight: New Chinese Writing, the “Lost and Found” issue, is here. As 2014 begins, we bring you a collection of stories and poems that look back on the dynamics of cultural change, human agency, and the anxiety of loss in today’s China.

 This issue features short stories by Su Tong, winner of the Man Asia Literary Prize and Man Booker nominee, Tie Ning, Li Rui, Taiwanese author Hu Shu-wen, and several others. The poetry section presents work by the award-winning Lan Lan, Qin Xiaoyu, and Chen Xianfa.
