Peace or Trouble

Ariani has just started her dream job working in the Imperial Palace's Communication's office as an assistant to the Chief of Communications, Lord Gab. It's a very easy, low stress position, allowing Ariani to spend most of her days shopping on the internet, and occasionally, opening mail. That is until one day, instead of singing arias, pounding out tunes on his keyboard, or blasting the office with a tuba concerto, Lord Gab turns into stone. Real stone. A perfectly rendered stone statute. This odd situation prompts Ariani's colleague, Sean to take charge, whereupon he sends the girl on an errand to Talas II.

En route to that planet, Ariani is convinced to do something radical that will allow her to realize her dream of becoming an elite. What she doesn't know is that if she fails, she'll definitely end up dead.

In the meantime, an unknown alien is requesting a conference with Mish, and if he doesn't get it, he'll continue turning everyone into stone. The problem is, Mish is off somewhere else, having been summoned to a Very Important Meeting. Now, Casey must take a spacejet confront the alien behind the sun, a task that shouldn't be all that difficult for the former SpaceForce Captain. Unfortunately, Liam and Fanshon, Beer and Ted all end up coming along.
