Pets Phonics Reader

The Pets Phonics Reader presents 7 sounds from Phonics 3.  The Family Phonics Reader presents the other 8 sounds from Phonics Three. The featured sounds are colour coded and one or two appear in each paragraph.  This makes these phonic reader books fun to read out loud because of the concentration of sounds that sound the same. 
The pets story is beautifully and accurately illustrated by Geoffrey Cox - a freelance New Zealand artist who has illustrated stamps for New Zealand Post, worked on a number of museum displays and illustrated many other books. All of the artwork is drawn true to life. As your children learn to sound out and recognise words, they will also be increasing their knowledge of different animals including the cockatoo, pheasant and the Persian cat as introduced in the Reading Master Cats FlashBook.
