It all started with a house party that was never supposed to happen …

School ends and the adult world beckons: university or work. But before lifelong decisions are made, it's time to celebrate. During an alcohol-fuelled house party, a jam session takes place in the back garden.

And it might just lead to a world never before imagined.

Rick's parents plan his life in meticulous detail while he hides his metal fandom in the garage with his drum kit. When he steps out of shadows, and into the company of others, he comes to see that he has more to share with the world than he ever could have believed. And it would be all too easy for it to slip free of his grasp.
