Photographs and commentary on the life and short times of a band that formed in the San Francisco Bay area in 1979.

Larry (the Boss) and his brother Danny (the Strong One), formed a Power Pop band with John (the Assassin) and Stu (the Cute One). They named the band The Best.

They are joined by Jack (the Producer) Gerald (the Manager) and P***y (the Photographer) as they record an album but perform only one time before they meet their fate.
