Racine’s Mountain will determine the outcome of five different lives.

When Matt Lawrence is taken captive by terrorists, his wife Kathy is desperate for his return. Her brother Mike has a dangerous and mysterious occupation, so she asks for his help. Mike and Cody agree to accompany Kathy to deliver the ransom and recover Matt. But Cody doesn’t count on falling in love with Matt’s wife. Afterward, realizing they can never be together, Cody returns to the peaceful beauty of Racine’s Mountain. During a visit to town, he meets Paige Dennison, and tries to forget his unrequited love in her arms. When Mike is seriously injured on a mission, he goes to recover on Racine’s Mountain, where he falls for Paige, and she for him. Once again, Cody is alone.

Kathy Lawrence is grateful for the return of her beloved husband, yet she is haunted by the memory of Cody Racine. She doesn’t know Matt has a secret, one he dreads sharing with her. They travel the world together, Matt showing Kathy their holdings while teaching her the business end of things. Then Kathy is devastated by loss.
