Rain's Gambit

It was supposed to be his first mission, but it would change Rain's life forever.

He was an untested executive officer, a former hotshot ace pilot veteran from the most recent war. Commanding a ship was all new to him. His first mission was supposed to just be a short test of an experimental new drive for the fleet's newest flagship.

Then fate, or an unknown hand, changed the game.

An unexpected malfunction hurls his career and his ship into an adjacent galaxy pitting them both in the sights of an Empire with an unquenchable thirst.

As rounds fly, Rain is put in the unenviable position of being forced to make some difficult decisions that will have lasting repercussions. It forces Adrian to summon every ounce of grit and determination to fight.

In the alliance duty and rules are the name of the game. Sometimes the rules get you killed.
