We all have gifts and talents. Some are obvious, butsome are hidden and take a while to show themselves.In Recruited, each of three siblings cautiously startto perceive that they may have a special talent. Theyare propelled on a journey which requires that theydevelop their gifts to supernatural levels. Viciousand angry animals, Yetis, Pirates and a storm at seaall threaten their very lives. Only with the powers ofLight, Speed and Strength will they be able to survivethe battles that lie ahead.In the process they uncover a life-changing truthabout the animal kingdom. They learn that forcenturies there has been an unseen war going onall over the earth: the war between the Clean andUnclean animals. On occasions this war has drawnhumans into battle, sometimes unknowingly. Thereare even acts of violence and complicated strategiesof defense going on right beneath their own noses, intheir own subdivision. Everything that these childrenhave known about their surroundings will be turnedon its head.Every few generations, the Clean animals are able torecruit a human to help them in their quest to avoidannihilation.
