Reflections at Sunrise

The morning dawned cold and crisp. I'd lain awake for hours, overcome with grief and loss. Something compelled me to crawl from the warmth of my bed and find pen and paper. I will always cherish the closeness I felt to my husband that morning as I poured out my heart.
