My name is Jasmin Parker, and I'm a superhero, but right now I'm facing the biggest choice of my life.   

My friend is trapped in another dimension—probably being tortured by the ancient gods who live there, if he's even still alive—except there's only one way to save him, and it means betraying my friends. It turns out being a superhero isn't all leaping tall buildings and stopping speeding bullets, sometimes it means hurting people you don't want to, and doing things that scare the crap out of you.
