Stories wrapped in fiction about the marines that fought and died in Nam. A far-off land that most never knew existed.
They arrived in a world apart to fight and die in the jungles and rice paddies that made up the Nam. Young men fresh out of boot camp, waiting to experience what was to come.


A salty marine, Gunnery Sergeant Rod Decker, on his third tour, had one goal to overcome. The hurdle every sergeant had to climb—to bring his men out of every engagement and back alive.
He led his men into battle, knowing that some would not return. He fought with them side by side, watching them struggle and sometimes die. A true marine, a credit to the corps.


Sergeant Decker proved a fact: that any marine can back up.



The deadliest weapon in the world is a marine and his rifle.
