Growing up in a car-loving family, Ellie dreamed of building her own hot rod. When, at the end of a mysterious illness, her death was inevitable, her husband was determined to make her dream a reality. They had no way to know it was his bucket list that needed tending instead. Now strong and healthy, widowed Ellie is moving forward with life in a new town, and is hard at work on her 1919 Nash Roadster.


Claustrophobic in long-term relationships,Mac prefers to keep things light and simple. Until late one night when he investigates garage lights in his mother’s neighborhood and discovers a cute grease monkey in oversized coveralls.
