Rosetown Forever

Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection

From Newbery Medalist Cynthia Rylant comes the “elegant, empathetic” (Kirkus Reviews) final installment in the critically acclaimed Rosetown Books series, rounding out the touching story of eleven-year-old Flora Smallwood’s life in quiet 1970s Rosetown, Indiana.

It’s May, and Flora Smallwood is nearing the end of fifth grade. Her most-loved place in all of Rosetown—Wings and a Chair Used Books—is officially closed for good. Flora has summer to look forward to with her two best friends, yet that empty storefront on Main Street still reminds her of the bookshop that had been so dear.

But as spring moves into summer and time goes on, Flora comes to see that the things she has recently had to let go of in her life might, in fact, be followed by things equally lovely and new.
