'Is he, now?' says the first man, fingering his dagger. 'Reckon there'd be a pretty price on his head, then.'

Kelvan glares at me, and I realise I've said the wrong thing. But he never likes being reminded of his grandfather, the man who wanted him to go in for politics rather than being a full-time harpist, at the best of times. Kezzie draws nearer to me and growls softly.

Rowan the Weaver- who has a talent for making things happen - is off to Egypt, but first she has to stop over in Israel with her new father's relatives, where she gets an exciting job offer. There are a lot of young men there, all brothers, including one who can 'dream true' like Rowan. However, two of them are quite happy to sell members of their own family to slave-traders…
