Sarah's Dream

Though Sarah Sweeney, age 15, dreamed of becoming a supermodel, she had a long road ahead because she was nearly 100 pounds over the ideal modeling weight. Driven to pursue her dream, Sarah dieted, exercised, lost weight, and even graduated early from high school in order to move to New York City to sign with a top modeling agency. But in her effort to maintain the weight loss, she developed unhealthy habits and eventually succumbed to anorexia and bulimia to control her weight. Soon after her 20th birthday, Sarah passed away from complications from her eating disorders.
