Shifter's Curse

As Queen of our Haven, I've made it my mission to help as many of Her children as I could. Any who sought refuge in our borders were granted freedom and peace. That was my intention at least. Our intention. But with the coming of the prophecy, everything changed. My people grew worried of our future. They feared the life I was set to bring into our world. They feared Her might, and what this change might bring.

            A battle is on the horizon, and I fear that I won't be around to see its end. I fear for my daughter and the life she may lead. I fear for her life. I've kept this journal with me through the passing of days. Recounting my life's journey with the pains and joys it has brought me. I wonder how it will end…
