These are side notes to The Reason and its sequel The Reason: Moving On.  We look at the obvious calculation they suggest, and in it discovering Levinson's number, we explain its origin which was discovered by the Author back in 2009 and published in his work Fiction-Reality Entanglement: Levinson, Asimov, And Clarke.
