Seduced by the promise of magic, Hennie joins a coven of nuns to help them battle against the forces of evil. Little does she know she already possesses a great deal of power, and the big man downstairs doesn't like it.

There had always been something lurking in the shadows—a presence trying to influence Hennie. After the death of her father, the voices in her head consume her, pushing her toward a violent act she might never forgive herself for.

With the help of witches, disguised as nuns, Hennie's mind is rescued and her heart unburdened. Now, inducted into the coven and tasked with fighting evil, Hennie finds herself up against forces far greater than she could have imagined.

As she continues to learn the craft, Hennie discovers she has a power of her very own. Unfortunately, using it has only put a target on her back. To defend themselves against a plague of demons, the coven must recruit a demon hunter. A man whose heart is as dark as the monsters they need him to destroy.
