After seeing what appears to be a Viking ghost in a window of her Uncle Alistair’s old mansion, sixteen-year-old Red becomes obsessed with the mysterious disappearance of her uncle and his graduate student, Erik. She’s a little nervous when her parents decide to move into the old mansion. And what’s more, strange things start to happen after the move, like a crow bringing her favorite wildflower, strange sounds and a feeling of being followed. Meanwhile, Erik can only watch her from his ghost-like state brought about by the ancient stone artifacts he was researching, though he desperately needs her help to find a way to transform back to normal.
