Paige was content to live her life until she walked down the wrong alley. Watching a man turn into a monster was enough to scare her now all she wanted was to be far away. 

Calix couldn't believe his mate walked down the alley the same time he was being called on to protect his people. Now she was on the run. All he could hope was that she would end up running to him.
