A college student tours a castle and has a paranormal encounter with a 13th-century warrior trapped in a spell who mistakes her for the woman who betrayed his kin into a deadly ambush, and wants revenge.

That stormy night, he enters her room to take vengeance. Instead, he finds himself admiring her as she sleeps, running his finger over an exposed soft shoulder, and longing to feel more. As she wakes, a struggle between them triggers the crystal amulet he carries to glow... Suddenly, she's in a cold, dark forest running barefoot from more than one man in her robe and night slip, and falls into a freezing creek.  Bursting with adrenaline, she runs out, and a man on horseback sweeps her onto his horse.  "It is not good for a woman to wander in the woods alone..." Freezing wet and shivering uncontrollably, she has little choice but to ride back to his forest home, where, against her better judgement, she allows him to remove the wet clothes... as romantic sparks fly, she soon makes a shocking discovery.
